Important Tips
- Only the Fitbit Charge 6 and Google Pixel Watch 2, 3, and 4 support BLE Heart Rate Broadcast. Other Fitbit models (Versa 4, Sense 2) are not supported.
- Heart Rate Broadcast must be enabled on the device before each class.
- If your device doesn’t show up in the Bluetooth Devices list, check that Heart Rate Broadcast is enabled and that no other fitness app is connected to it.
- If you still can’t connect, take a screenshot of the Bluetooth wearable list in the app and share it with us via Instabug, or contact support@fivepointfive.com.
Troubleshooting
Device not appearing in FivePointFive
- Check HR Broadcast is enabled: On your device, go to Settings → Heart Rate → ensure Heart Rate Broadcast is on
- Check Bluetooth permissions: Ensure FivePointFive has Bluetooth permission enabled in your phone’s Settings
- Close other apps: If another fitness app is actively connected to your device via Bluetooth, it may prevent FivePointFive from detecting it
- Restart broadcast: Disable Heart Rate Broadcast, wait a few seconds, then re-enable it
- Ensure device is worn: The device needs to be on your wrist and actively detecting a heart rate
