Bluetooth Wearable Connection Guide

Garmin Watch Connection Guide

Start broadcast using whichever option your model shows:

  • From the HR widget, hold UP/MENU, then choose Broadcast Heart Rate.
  • From Menu, go to Sensors & Accessories > Wrist Heart Rate > Broadcast Heart Rate, then press START.
  • As a shortcut, hold LIGHT, then tap the green heart-antenna icon. The icon shows green while broadcasting.

Pair once per class:

  1. In the FivePointFive app, select Record HR with other wearable.
  2. Choose your watch. It may show as its model name or Garmin HR.
  3. When heart-rate digits appear, start the class.

Stop broadcast by pressing any button on the watch and choosing Stop Broadcast.

End the FivePointFive class in your app after you have received your AI coach feedback and heart-rate performance results.

Tip: if your watch has the Virtual Run sport profile, such as Forerunner 245/945 or Fenix 6/7, start that profile to stream heart rate automatically over Bluetooth.

Not supported

Versa 4 and Sense 2 do not broadcast heart rate.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Connection Guide

Samsung watches do not broadcast heart rate on their own.

To share heart rate:

  1. Install a relay app on the watch, such as Heart for Bluetooth or HR2VP.
  2. Keep that relay app running whenever you need to broadcast. Samsung Health cannot do this by itself.

Smart Rings: No heart-rate broadcast

  • Oura Ring live heart rate stays inside the Oura app only.
  • Ultrahuman Ring has no Bluetooth or ANT+ broadcast available.

General Tips if Your Wearable Won’t Connect

  • Battery must be 20% or higher.
  • Bluetooth must be on.
  • Make sure both wearable and phone apps are updated.
  • If necessary, restart the wearable and the phone, then repeat the pairing steps.
