COROS Connection Guide for FivePointFive

Supported Devices

FivePointFive supports COROS watches that have Broadcast HR available in the watch Toolbox / Quick Menu.

Important: COROS does not publish an official list of unsupported watch models for Broadcast HR. If your COROS watch does not show Broadcast HR, update your watch to the latest firmware in the COROS app and try again.

This guide is for COROS watches using Broadcast HR only.

It does not apply to the following COROS products:

  • COROS DURA
  • COROS POD 2
  • COROS Bike Sensors
  • COROS HYDROP
  • COROS Heart Rate Monitor

How to Connect Your COROS Watch to FivePointFive

Summary

To connect your COROS watch to FivePointFive, you must do three things:

  1. Start Broadcast HR on your COROS watch
  2. Make sure Bluetooth access is enabled for FivePointFive on your phone
  3. Connect your watch inside the FivePointFive app

Step 1 — Start Broadcast HR on Your COROS Watch

  1. From the main watch face, press and hold the BACK button
  2. Open the Toolbox / Quick Menu
  3. Tap Broadcast HR
  4. Keep your watch broadcasting while you connect in FivePointFive

Step 2 — Make Sure Bluetooth Access Is Enabled for FivePointFive

  1. Open Settings on your phone
  2. Open Privacy & Security
  3. Tap Bluetooth
  4. Find FivePointFive
  5. Make sure permissions is turned ON OR
  6. Open Settings on your phone
  7. Open Apps
  8. Find FivePointFive
  9. Make sure Bluetooth access is turned ON

Step 3 — Connect Your COROS Watch in FivePointFive

  1. Open the FivePointFive app
  2. Select your class card
  3. Tap the class heart rate button
  4. Tap Record HR with other wearable
  5. Under Bluetooth Devices, tap your COROS watch
  6. When the heart rate circle appears with digits, tap Join class

Important Notes

  • Broadcast HR may need to be turned on before each class
  • Your watch must be worn on your wrist and actively reading your heart rate
  • If your watch does not appear in FivePointFive, another Bluetooth connection may already be using it
  • If you do not see Broadcast HR on your watch, update to the latest firmware in the COROS app and try again

Troubleshooting

My COROS watch does not appear in FivePointFive

Try these steps:

  1. Make sure Broadcast HR is turned on
  2. Make sure Bluetooth access is enabled for FivePointFive on your phone
  3. Close the COROS app and any other fitness apps that may already be connected to your watch
  4. Turn your phone’s Bluetooth off and back on, then try again
  5. Keep the watch on your wrist and make sure it is detecting your heart rate
  6. If needed, update your watch to the latest firmware in the COROS app

My watch still does not appear

COROS watches can only keep a limited Bluetooth connection available while broadcasting heart rate. If your watch still does not appear in FivePointFive, disconnect any other active Bluetooth connection to the watch and try again.


After Class

  • End your class in FivePointFive after you receive your AI Coach feedback and HR performance results
  • You can turn off Broadcast HR on your watch after class to conserve battery
